Giga graduated from the Culinary Academy of Georgia, receiving a strong foundation in gastronomy and culinary arts. His professional journey is remarkable: he has worked as an executive chef in some of the most prestigious restaurants in both Georgia and the United States, creating signature dishes that have consistently impressed guests.

 

Despite his young age, he brings over 10 years of experience from leading restaurants. His name is well known in luxury hotels as well as state culinary residences, where only chefs of the highest caliber are entrusted with the kitchen.

 

Today, Giga Shamathava is the pride of Café Maestro.

His talent, impeccable taste, attention to detail, and bold culinary vision create the magic that keeps our guests returning again and again.

David Tsurtsumia is a truly unique individual who embodies two remarkable talents: the mastery of a highly skilled chef and the gift of an exceptional Georgian vocalist.

 

His culinary journey is impressive in scale: David has served as Head Chef in prestigious restaurants across America — from New York to Philadelphia — leading kitchens that served up to 500 guests. His experience managing large teams, creating signature menus, and carrying absolute confidence in every movement makes him a true world-class professional.

 

But David is known far beyond the culinary world. He is also a soloist of the legendary State Ensemble of Georgian Folk Art “Erisioni,” a group that has showcased Georgian culture on the finest stages around the globe. His powerful, expressive voice and deep understanding of tradition are an inseparable part of his artistic nature.

 

Today, David brings this extraordinary fusion of music and gastronomy to Café Maestro.

His voice, his energy, and his tremendous culinary expertise have become an essential part of the café’s atmosphere — a place where every dish resonates like an aria and the kitchen operates like a perfectly synchronized orchestra.

It is her hands that create the signature masterpieces of our bakery: khachapuri, lobiani, pkhovani, and many other dishes that have become the hallmark of our café.

 

Her name is known far beyond Philadelphia — people speak of her in other cities across America and even overseas.

Guests travel specifically to taste her khachapuri and experience that unmistakable warmth only a master with a big heart and impeccable taste can bring.

 

Nana possesses a rare gift — the ability to blend the traditions of Georgian cuisine with soulful craftsmanship that cannot be imitated. Every creation of hers is love embodied in dough, cheese, and the aroma that fills Café Maestro with comfort and warmth.

Levan Giorgadze is a name inseparable from the most delicious and authentic khinkali in the city. His mastery is so exceptional that his khinkali are spoken of with admiration, and Café Maestro guests often call them the benchmark of true Georgian cuisine.

 

With deep professional experience, Levan has spent many years working in some of the finest Georgian restaurants — both in Georgia and across the United States. His expertise, precision, respect for tradition, and impeccable taste have made him a true master of his craft.

 

Thanks to Levan Giorgadze, Café Maestro’s khinkali have earned the highest recognition in Philadelphia.

He doesn’t simply make a dish — he cultivates culture, preserves tradition, and infuses every piece with a part of the Georgian soul.

David Naveriani is the person thanks to whom Café Maestro has grown from a cozy café into a true gastronomic name recognized throughout Philadelphia. His 22 years of experience in the restaurant industry are an invaluable asset that cannot be replaced. Under his leadership, Café Maestro has reached a new standard of quality, service, and flavor.

 

Back in the city of Kobuleti, his own café was a destination for the most discerning gourmets. Even David Gvinianidze himself was a regular guest, enjoying the exceptional atmosphere and high-level cuisine. This experience became the foundation upon which the philosophy of Café Maestro is built today.

 

David Naveriani not only manages the café but also personally takes part in creating desserts and non-alcoholic beverages. His cakes are true works of art — the finest indulgence one can treat themselves to. His beverages complement the Café Maestro menu with harmony and refined taste, enhancing the signature style of our establishment.

In addition, David graduated from the Georgian Institute of Performing Arts and Circus, vocal department — an education that perfectly aligns with the Café Maestro atmosphere, where music and gastronomy blend into a single art form.

Giga Lomtashvili is the person who welcomes every guest at Café Maestro with a warm smile and that unmistakable Georgian hospitality that simply cannot be imitated. He is the face of our café — the first emotion, the first impression, and the final kind smile guests take with them as they leave.

 

Despite his young age, Giga’s background is extraordinary. For many years, he was a soloist of the legendary National Ballet of Georgia — a world-renowned ensemble that represents Georgian culture on the finest stages across the globe. His stage charisma, graceful posture, and ability to connect with an audience have become a tremendous asset to Café Maestro, where the spirit of art is part of our philosophy.

 

His artistic lineage is another point of pride: Giga’s father was a soloist of the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre, and this heritage of artistry blends seamlessly with the aesthetic of Café Maestro.

 

Today, Giga Lomtashvili is far more than an administrator.

He is the guardian of our atmosphere — the person who makes every visit to Café Maestro feel special.
